To implement and provide oversight for all human resource initiatives within Canada, working to train each employee/volunteer in understanding their rights as an employee, and ensuring they adhere to the policies and procedures, implementing disciplinary action when necessary.
Line of Authority:
The Andrew Wommack Ministries Canada Human Resources Coordinator will assist the AWMC Director in leadership training and development.
The Andrew Wommack Ministries Canada Human Resources Coordinator will provide support for all staff in the AWM and Charis organization within Canada.
Line of Accountability:
The Andrew Wommack Ministries Canada Human Resources Coordinator will report to the Andrew Wommack Ministries Canada Director, who will report to the World Outreach Regional Outreach Director, who will, in turn, report to World Outreach.
The Andrew Wommack Ministries Canada Human Resources Coordinator will be subject to all policies and procedures established by World Outreach.
Responsibilities
Duties General:
The Andrew Wommack Ministries Canada Human Resources Coordinator will ensure the accuracy of information filed for each employee/volunteer.
The Andrew Wommack Ministries Canada Human Resources Coordinator will ensure that all employees/volunteers are up to date on training, understanding all policies and procedures established by World Outreach.
The Andrew Wommack Ministries Canada Human Resources Coordinator will ensure each employee has representation in the ministry to answer questions concerning employment, or to submit grievances.
The Andrew Wommack Ministries Canada Human Resources Coordinator will ensure all new employees are onboarded through introductory training and are aware of their benefits of employment.
The Andrew Wommack Ministries Canada Human Resources Coordinator will be the first contact should an employee have a grievance and be requested to be present in the case of disciplinary action.
The Andrew Wommack Ministries Canada Human Resources Coordinator will ensure all policies and procedures are communicated to each employee.
Duties Specific:
The Andrew Wommack Ministries Canada Human Resources Coordinator will:
Review employee/volunteer files, ensuring all information provided is accurate and up to date.
Ensure that all employees/volunteers are aware of any changes in employee benefits, policies, and procedures established by World Outreach and/or Employee Standards Act.
Administer the recruiting and onboarding of all new employees/volunteers.
Maintain and update job descriptions as needed.
Ensure each employee is aware of their benefits as an employee/volunteer (i.e., sick time, vacation time, holidays, medical coverage, etc.).
Be the first line of contact should an employee/volunteer have a grievance and be present in the case of disciplinary action.
Ensure training for employees/volunteers (in coordination with their line of accountability).
Manage staff review at the 3-month probationary period for new employees, including a review of vacation policy and their health benefits.
Administer the annual performance evaluation program.
Maintain and update the AWMC and CBC organizational chart and all staff lists.
Assist Director of Andrew Wommack Ministries Canada in Annual Review of Employee Handbook.
Provide vacation and sick time information to the Finance Manager, including lieu time requests.
Manage Team Building Exercises.
Remain apprised of staff needs to maintain effective operations.
Qualifications
Must be in agreement with the doctrinal statements of Andrew Wommack Ministries and Charis Bible College.
Must have a background in management, leadership development, training, organizational development, and basic legal practices.
Must have an understanding of H.R. policies within Canada. On-the-job experience is preferred.
Must have good communication skills and work well with other people.
Must have the recommendation of AWM Regional Director, World Outreach Regional Director, and World Outreach staff.
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
Guidelines / Expectations
The Andrew Wommack Ministries Canada Human Resources Coordinator will conduct themselves according to the guidelines of the ministry. They will be held to the standards outlined in the employee “Code of Conduct” portion of the directives. They will maintain a professional relationship with each of the people they oversee while operating within the scope of their positions.
